Hello and welcome to my website that I have created to show my experiences in England, traveling and student teaching!
Traveling Around Europe
I was extremely lucky to be able to travel to many of the most famous and amazing places in the world while completing my program in England. With The University of Brighton Program I traveled to the cities of London, Bath, Rye, and Bristol in the UK along with seeing the famous sites of Stonehenge and the Bodiam Castle. Our bonus trip was a beautiful trip to Paris, France where we took a boat tour down the Seine River, climbed our way to the top of the Eiffel Tower, walked through the Notre Dame Cathedral, and visited the amazing museum home to Mona Lisa, the Llouvre. On my own time in England I traveled back to London, saw a football game in Portsmouth, and experienced the lively atmosphere of Brighton. During Spring Break, I took my travels to Dublin and County Kerry in Ireland, Barcelona in Spain, and Florence, Italy. I still cannot believe I got to experience all of these lovely places in my 10 weeks abroad. Sharing the things I have learned and seen with my future students will be something I will do for years to come. I will never forget all the brilliant memories I made in Europe!
The site of Stonehenge in Southern England
Known as the "The Sunniest Place in Great Britain" :) Eastbourne is a town located on the South coast of England. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes on train to get to London and is a 45 minute train ride west to the city of Brighton. Beachy Head, the largest calk cliff in Great Britain, is just West of Eastbourne as well. There is a beautiful sea coast looking at the English Channel, with a pier and hotels along the seafront.
